D300 w/LR

I have been using LR with my d7's without any problems. I bought a D3'' yesterday.I tried to download NEF pics and they will not load to the import screen. says that there is no info. It does load JPEGs from the d3''. What am I missing here?

What version of Lightroom are you running?

If you put your computer and software spec in your signature it helps others answer your questions without having to get the basic details of your set-up off you each time

Dunno. I only can tell I don't have ay problem importing from my D3''. (Hmm I think, you made me full unsecure, will check).
What I do: copy files from card to HD-dir and import from there.

To tell what version you have go to Help>system info. All your specs will be listed there.

You will need Nikon Codec 1.2 for your Raw files where as the D7' needed the Nikon Codec 1.'. Nikon site or Google it..

Thanks for the replies. I just registered, so I havent had to to work on a signature yet. I usually impot straight from a PCMCIA to CFII adapter to LR.

Same here for loading photos, My wife uses a D2'' and D3'' Running Vista, Lightroom 1.3, Nikon NX and CS3. Good Luck and happy shooting..
