Curser jumps to metadata Title field

When closing the Library View Options dialogue box, the curser jumps to the Title field in the Metadata panel. I don't know if it is meant to do this but it is very annoying. I have often closed the dialogue box and continued to use shortcut keys only to find that have corrupted the Title. Can it be fixed?

In the Windows Control Panel , Mouse, did you checked an option to automatically go to default button or field?...
