I go to the develop module. Select a photo. Press R to open the crop tool. Choose the 4x6 ratio. Grab the top left/right corner handles to crop in the portrait position. Press R again. Crop is complete...or so I thought. I then press the right arrow key to move to the next photo and go through the process again. Out of curiosity I press the left arrow key to go back to the first photo and press R. The crop ration has been set back to Original.

What is going on? This happens with any ratio I choose.

I don't get it. I just would press the crop overlay button, crop the picture to where it looks go, double click and call it good.
Does using the crop ratio make it so a print of the cropped photo will look good at the indicated size, more than just drawing a crop around the photo?

Is the actual crop changing, or just the indicated ratio? There are known bugs in 2.' and 2.1 with the crop ratio indication, though none of them affect the actual crop.

I'm using LR 2.1 RC. The actual crop does not change. The indicated ratio changes back to Original.

If it's a know bug then that sucks for me.:( I use the indicated ratio as a quick visual check to ensure I've changed my crop ration to my desired size.
