Crop Ratio, not same as crop tool in CS2?

Hi

In Library if I select all and change crop ratio to say 12x8 does this reflect an actual 12"x8" size print that I will get back from a lab. If not what is the point of crop ratio?

In Photoshop you set crop SIZES. In Lightroom you set crop RATIOS. A 12x8 crop ratio could just as easily be used for a 6x4 print without needing to recrop.

If you want a 12x8 at a specific ppi, you need to crop to the 12x8 ratio, and then set the dimensions in the export dialog.
