To check your version, use the Gear icon, select Preferences.

I'm running the affected version, haven't encountered any issue (AFAICT).

Reading it it may be only if backblaze is used, though it also claims to do it just alphabetically first, so it seems a bit unclear whether it's a specific backblaze file, or any first file. It also speaks of first time signing in, whereas I suspect most of us don't sign in it just stays.

Are you a BackBlaze user? If not I don't think you have an issue. Otherwise, the issue notice would be more widely distributed. If you have installed v 3.5.0.206 then you have already experienced the problem and need to recover the missing file. Otherwise don't worry about it.

I have the affected version installed and like Jim don't see anything amiss.

It could be super serious; some have apparently had .DocumentRevisions-V100 trashed, since it might be the first. Mine has root permissions, so I expect with just admin access the updater couldn't trash it. I went back and looked for any missing folders and didn't find any. But an installer from any developer could easily add something there that would be vulnerable.

A suggested workaround is to add a new folder, say .adobestinks, as a sacrificial canary in the coal mine, as it were. This is really quite inexcusable and bespeaks some very poor quality control.
