Crashes With Identity Plate Options On Mac

Hi All, Running Lr2.3 On An Imac With 4gig Ram.

Having Issues With Lr Crashing And Closing Whenever I Try To Change The Colour Of The Custom Id Plate In Slideshow Module.

Also: It Does Exactly The Same When I Try And Use The Plug In Called Mogrify, And Try To Change The Borders Colour.

Any Ideas ??? I Have Searched The Web To No Avail.

Have Reset Prefs And Updated To Latest Versions, Tried New Catalog Etc. Etc.

Im Open To Suggestions !!!!! Thanks Guys, Please Help !!

It may be entirely unrelated, but it's worth a shot. There was a colorsync issue I had a while back - a corrupted profile was crashing the color picker.

At the time, I was told:
"Look in ~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles and try moving them someplace else temporarily. If that doesn't work, the misbehaving profile may also lie in one of these places: /System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles or /Library/ColorSync/Profiles"

Removing the profiles and restarting solved the problem - and I put them back afterwards and it behaved well since. Apparently colorsync has a cache which can be holding the corruption, which can be cleared when you remove those profiles.

Worth a shot!

Thanks Victoria, but that didnt work.

When I read the thread I thought, Yes, That's the problem - But to my dismay it didnt fix it, and I am back to square one.

Any more ideas ??
