Crash after a few minutes

Hello,
from 7.2 version often LR crash after a few minutes that has been open (see crash report attached).
On the internet I found this solution:
a file config.lua inside the folder C:\Users\ianni\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom with this command "DigestManager.dontCalculateDigest = true".
Seems to have solved but which is the problem?

That's a question you'd need to put in front of the engineering team at the Official Feature Request/Bug Report Forum at Photoshop Family Customer Community

I believe that issue that was introduced in 7.2 was supposed to be fixed in later releases, so does it still crash with 7.4 installed, without the config.lua?

It crash when Sync with Lightroom CC is on.
I found this issue and relative solution with congif.lua file:

That was a slowness issue, rather than crashing, so can I get you to report it at the Official Feature Request/Bug Report Forum at Photoshop Family Customer Community
