CR2 Import Problems - Canon 5DMk3

Hello All

Probably the wrong forum, but its about managing my photos!

I'm trying to import only CR2 files from a 5DMk3 from a CF card (actually 2 cards).
The import dialog box shows the files and their previews, but then says the files were unable to be imported as they could not be read!

Very frustrating as I have successfully read files from these cards using this same reader onto my mac for the last 2 years. I haven't consciously changed any setting!

any help/thoughts/suggestions appreciated.....

oh yes....I have successfully imported the CR2 files via photos, but not directly into Lightroom

Lightroom often says that files could not be read, when in fact they could not be written at the destination. Check that there is enough space, and that you have read&write permissions.
