Greetings All,

I know this has been asked before, but the previously offered advice is not working for me. Hopefully, I am not simply missing something. I have been successfully importing into Lightroom Classic over the past year. Yesterday, when I inserted my SD card, Lightroom recognized it and showed the Import screen. I initiated the Import and then got the message: "Could not copy a file to the destination folder because it is not writable". None of my photos were moved. I have not changed any permissions on my computer, but I did confirm that the destination folder did have full Read & Write Permissions. I also made sure that Lightroom had Full Disk Access. In addition, I tried "Make a second copy To", but this does not work either.

Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated! This is my first time posting, so I am hoping I was able to get the screenshot of Lightroom successfully attached. Thanks in advance!!! John

Solution
To anyone who saw my post, it does appear that I have managed to fix my own problem. I would like to apologize. Hopefully, I did not waste anyone's time... other than my own!!;) I think I may have moved a folder yesterday outside of the Lightroom environment. By right clicking on the Lightroom Photos folder in the left-hand Navigator panel and selecting "Import to this Folder", everything started working properly again. Cheers, John
