Been using this catalog for ages without problem. Today LR says it's corrupt and I went through the steps it offered by that didn't fix it. I backup my catalog but for some reasons the backups are all missing. Yuck. I have an older catalog that loads but it has nothing since the end of last November. I have all the image files but don't know how to get them into LR.

I'm attaching a screenshot of the folder that has the catalog because there are some files with extensions I don't recognize. Can anyone see anything from this screenshot that would suggest an easy way to fix this catalog? If not, how would I go about getting those images back into this other catalog? I'll lose countless hours - days! - of work but so it goes.

Thanks for any help...

Marc

Humble apologies. How could I have spent over an hour troubleshooting this without having rebooted my computer?? Silly me. Rebooted, catalog loads, all is well in my world. Face red...

That got fixed as well - catalog backups reappeared...I hadn't shut off the computer in quite some time. If it behaves from now on, I'll assume all's well. Otherwise I'll check in with Apple...
