I am also very interested in this add to LR...is a vital tool that save usa lot of time, especially considering LR is about speed of workflow...
I shoot a small event, everybody is expecting pictures, i have 2 choices now: to go to PS and frame/watermark everything, which is not exactly what i would call fast (I would prefer to go to PS just for advanced few images I want to work on...) OR to use LR poor watermarking, on export or from some of the web module galleries...
Lack of transparency, lack of ability to use custom fonts (is not good as some of us really use some styles/fonts in every single other environment we use, personal website, photography websites/forsum, is part of our "brand"...), lack of custom positioning of the watermark, etc....
Is a pitty such a basic and simple issue was passed in such a superficial manner by Adobe.
PS: for me, third party apps needed, in this case morgrify export module, are not a good idea. First I am not really shure how it works, if export tiff, work on that, and reimport tiff or the external all does the jpeg compression/conversion, resizing beyong text adding...
(not to mention I was not able to "install" it and make it work but let's say i didn't try hard enough, I would still love to be albe to use Adobe engines instead of some third party I have no experience with and i do not know how good it works...)
Is more upsetting as some of LR modules offer a pretty decent "watermarking" result...i used Print module and i was pleasantly surprised about that implementation of "watermark" function...transparency which works great for instance, if i remember correctly even position which had several options, anyway it seemed much more "usable" that what Lr offers in Export function or Web Module...
