How do I control the size, font, opacity, and placement in the web area....

I can control it in the slide area, but the small one in the web area is totally not working for me

For what you want to do, I think the plugin LR/Mogrify or LR2/Mogrify if you're running Lightroom 2.x is what you need. A Google search will turn the link to it up quickly.

You can't control the watermark in the web module. Lightroom doesn't support it. The LR/Mogrify plugin is a good way to do it when you're outputing from the Export feature, but doesn't help you in the Web module.

... unless you reimport those exported images for the Web Module. ;)

Yes! Very useful! I did that last night but the purpose was to print the Mogrified version through Lightroom. In fact, doing so one can also create slideshows with such modified images...
