Hi,

I'm using Lightroom 1.3 on Mac platform on Tiger.

This is what i want to achieve ...

When i visit a location which i want to photograph ...
- I'll use my mobile (Nokia N95) to capture 1 photo with the gps info
- use my Nikon D8' to take the rest of the pictures.

All i wanted to do is copy the gps tags one picture to another. I've the installed the gps plugin for lightroom, but this plugin does NOT allow me to copy the gps tags from one picture to another.

The only option i've now is to use TrekBuddy to capture location information into a gpx format file and then when i am back at my computer to read the gpx data and sync the gps data. I've not tried this option.

Regards

Sajid

I did do a little research, when I read your first post. I didn't find anyway to do what you want within LR.

Since that answer was no help, I figured I'd let an expert respond. Guess that hasn't happened.

You may have seen this already, but if not, let me refer you to an expert:

http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2''7/11/geocoding_your_photos_with_lig.html

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but there's a good deal of reference info available in the article, and in the comments.

There's also always the EXIFTool option. Very useful for copying metadata between image files.
