Copy History of one photo from a backed up catalog to current catalog

Hello - I inadvertently deleted a photo from both LR and my hard drive., thus deleting the LR History associated with the photo. I have been able to recover the original photo from Recycle. I know that the History of LR Develop edits for this photo is contained within a catalog backup file. Is there a method to somehow copy the History steps from the backup and paste/restore the history onto the recovered photo in the current catalog. I would prefer not to just restore the backup and go from there, because I have many edits done since the backup. (I would chose to lose the history on the recovered photo rather than lose all my edits done since the backup.) Worst case I guess I could screen shot my edits from the backup and try to duplicate them - but I know there were a lot, including adjustment brushes, filters and spot removals. Thank you for any ideas and assistance.

You can use File menu > Import from Another Catalog to import just that photo's records. Have a look at "How do I restore part of my backup catalog?" on page 65 of the latest LR Classic Missing FAQ for the steps to follow.
