Conversion PNG -> TIFF, before import

Hi,

I have some PNG files that LR won't import. I'm thinking of converting them to TIFF before importing into LR.

Is this a good idea?
Will any data get lost through the PNG to TIFF conversion?
Do you know which parameters I should choose for the conversion (in Xnview for example)?

Hi LittleJu, sorry we missed this on. You could always keep the PNG's as well as the Tiffs if you wanted to. I can't think of anything that you'd lose in that conversion, but I could be wrong as I rarely use PNG.
