Consolidate Catalogues

I made the mistake of creating a catalog for each project I created. Now half my pics seem to be "offline," and I can't export an import project to send to a printer for a client. I'd like to start over consolidate my catalogs and create a master file and hope that will solve my problem, but I'm not sure how to do so....Any suggestions? I'd like to have all my pics on one external drive with the back ups on a second external. Full disclosure, I have NOT backed up any the catalogs.

First, back up all the catalogs. But you probably knew that. Come back when you're done.

Okay, done? Great. Now open one of your catalogs (whichever you want to be the "master") and use Import from Catalog to import each of the other catalogs.

Once that's done, you'll be able to use just the one catalog, but this doesn't solve the problem of your image files being offline. Are they all still available from Windows? If so, just right-click on the top-level missing folder in the Folders panel and choose "Find Missing Folder" from the context menu.

I made a mistake on my profile. I'm running a G4 iBook. How do I get to the same menu as right clicking?

Ctrl-click is the Mac equivalent of a Windows right click. The rest of Mark's instructions still apply perfectly.
