Compare two files in develop?

Hi,
I'd like to be able to have two images side by side in the develop module, to help compare for skin tones when adjusting.
Is this possible? I know it can be done in the library module, but the tools aren't fine enough to do accurate balancing in Library.

Welcome to Lightroom Forums.

There's no direct way to do this, but the workaround is to open a Locked Loupe window on the second monitor. And if you have only one monitor, you can put it on your screen in a separate window.

Open one image in a second monitor window using Loupe view, and lock it, then open the second image in Develop..you can see them side by side, sort of.
