is there a way to take 2 photos, import them into LR and combine them (i.e. 1 photo is say on the left [with border?] and another separate photo is on the right)? then export the entire 2 photo file as a .jpg (or .gif etc)

i want to do 'split' imaging of 2 photos and can only figure out how to import and export 1 photo at a time. thanks

molli, Welcome to LR Forums.

Not really. The closest you can come is printing two images on the same page.
LR2 is slightly better, but not much. We've been promised much more power in this area for later releases.

If you were on Mac, you could print and Preview from the print module and create it that way.
LR2 allows you to print to a JPEG, so this is entirely possible in LR2 on both platforms.

Are you looking for a collage or composite kind of thing? That is, multiple photos like a scrapbook/album page with borders and edges and other elements, or just multiple images on the same page?

i was looking to take 1 photo (say 'photo A') with a slight border (or maybe not - its not a huge issue) and combine it within the same file as a 'photo B' - so there is a side-by-side view as 1 jpg (or similar format). i want to take this 1 file (of photo A & photo B) and upload to my website (www.jeffmolitor.com) just i would do for a single file. does this make sense? think somewhat of a stiched together photo or panoramic

thanks for the feedback - i am getting to know LR fairly well but want to expiriment
