Colour Ratings

Hello,
A recent HDD death has meant that I've had to reinstall LR. I used the backup of the catalogue (kept on 2 other HDD's, thankfully) all is fine except none of my images are colour rated anymore. Is this information not part of the catalogue, or have I done something wrong?

That data should be preserved. Have a look at the menu setting for:

Library menu > Metadata > Color Label set, and see if multiple sets are available and perhaps a different one is selected than intended.

Thanks Brad, edited the labels and got all the colour ratings back.
