Colors (Print module color management)

Whenever I print a photo from Lightroom (to my Canon Pixma 9''' printer) the colors are not as true or crisp as they are when I print from Adobe Elements 6. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to get truer colors?

In Lightroom print module what are your settings i e, Colour management settings, Profile set to managed by printer or other

Well, "managed by Printer" is not the proper choice. You should allow LR to do the color mangement and simply select the Canon provided printer profile appropriate to the paper you're using.
There are several dozen threads here on both Canon and Epson printer settings. While the search facility isn't as smart as Google, have a look and see if you can find some background reading.
