Hello,
I have been using Lightroom for a while now and never had a problem like this. I edited photos that were jpg format and exported them. They looked fine in the folder on my desktop when I exported them, but when I uploaded to my website they turned dark and the color was muted. I do not know why or how to solve this problem. Please Help!!
Michelle
Below is a link where you can see a screen capture of how they look in Lightroom and on my desktop(Pre) And it looks on my website(post).

Welcome aboard the forums!!
To help us help you could you please take a moment to fill in your signature in the "userCP' that is found in the nav-bar at the top left of the page - thanks.

It looks as if you have exported the photos in either AdobeRGB or ProphotoRGB. This would account for the colour shift.
You need to export for web posting in sRGB generally.
Also you can obtain a plug-in for Picasa from here:http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/picasaweb - you need to make a small donation I understand. This makes it easy to upload to Picasa.

Thank you, that worked. I recently switched from using sRGB to prophoto RGB for a new print company I use. That was the problem. I guess I'll have to export using sRGB to post the pics and re-export using the prophoto RGB to order my prints from now on.
