Color Problem!! - Calibration - Windows 7 Color Management

I have a big problem with color management.

My equipment:

• 
  [li]Dell U241' Monitor[/li]
  [li]Spyder 3 Elite Calibrator[/li]
  [li]ATI Radeon 467'[/li]
  [li]Windows 7 64bits[/li]

The problem:

• 
  [li]When I use the calibrated profile created by the Spyder3 Calibrator (65''K Gamma 2.2 LUT), colors inside lightroom goes wrong![/li]
  [li]When I use the default sRGB IE61966-2.1 profile, colors are much more realistic. [/li]

Whether I use Lightroom 3beta2 or Lightroom 2.7, I have the same problem.

I uninstalled my ATI drivers, but the problem persist.

I recalibrated 1'' times using lots of parameters (LUT, Matrix profiles, 65''K 95''K...), even used the Blue Eye Pro calibration software, without any improvement.

I don't understand why when I change the default profile from sRVB to my Spyder3 ICC profile the Windows Explorer rendering looks the same.
Am I missing something ?

Happinessbottle, bienvenue, welcome to the forums.

At first glance, it looks as if there's an unknown problem with the Spyder profiles. Either there's something wrong with the hardware/software combination, or you're making some unknown mistake in the process.

Any chance of borrowing a different calibrator from a friend? Have you talked to Datacolor?

This is not much help, I know. Perhaps some of our other members have an idea.

On the basis of the limited information you've provided, I don't see anything obvious you're doing wrong.
Since you have English as a second language (well done by the way) feel free to ask for clarification.

Thanks for your quick reply !

I have been doing some tests:

- I recalibrated using the Spyder 3, then launched LR3 just after the calibration --> everything went well (good color in lightroom...)

- Save the profile, close LR3, then re-open LR3 1 minute after --> wrong color (obvious yellow dominance)
but color temperature, luminance didn't move.
??? ???

His there a problem with the video card ? (I don't think so) :
I followed your advice and borrowed a Pentone Huey Pro calibrator (only Matrix profile, D5', 2.2) --> Perfect!
I can't understand why a "cheap" calibrator to it just fine and not the SP3

Do you have any idea of what is going on here ???
(SP3 works fine, because just after calibration LR3 displays the right colors but something interacts with the profile but what is it ? LUT problem ? Drivers ?)

Sorry, I don't know. Looks like Windows and Spyder are fighting over which profile to use.

One thought, does the Spyder do ICC V2 and V4 profiles? If so, try the V2 profiles.
