Color banding in printed images. (Light Room 2.7)

Hello LightRoom forums, help me if you can.

I'm a greeting card and wall art printer. I use two Canon Pixma Pro9''' mark II printers, one is 6 months old, one is one month old. Just recently they both started banding on prints. Banding is especially bad in blue sky areas. The problem is identical on both printers, so I believe it's coming from LightRoom. I don't see any banding while using light room, it always appears after they print.

I have tried print resolutions between 3'' and 48'.
I double checked that I downloaded the correct ICC profiles for my Ilford Gallerie Smooth Pearl.
Using only Canon Inks.

Greeting cards on 7x1' Red River paper are printing fine, it's only the larger wall art images that are banding. Most of the images I'm printing have been printed before with great results. I'm unsure what has changed, the only update I have done recently is moving from 2.6, to 2.7. We've also moved from Vista to Windows 7.

Any ideas? Please let me know of any additional information I can provide. I'm off to scour the forums some more. Also will take recommendations on any other sites to use.

Are you using the 64 bit version of Windows 7?
Are you using the standard or the XPS driver from Canon?

I would suspect ink flow. When and how often do you clean the ink jets? Another possibility is the paper feed. How is the paper stored? What is the humidity like in your printer environment? How long have the printers set idle between uses. If the images do not exhibit banding when the JPEG is viewed on the screen, then LR is not likely the cause. I would next look at the print drivers Check with cannon to make sure you are using the latest Win7 (32 or 64 bit) driver, (You are using the same driver for both printers). Humidity can affect the paper. The same paper is used for both printers.

Using Windows7 64bit.
Using Canon XPS drivers.
Size is 176'x1173

Draft Mode printing is not checked.
Printer Color Management is off.
Will also try using different drivers.

Thanks for all the replys. Turns out the problem was fairly simple. We print greeting cards on scored 7x1' paper, and we have to turn on the paper abrasion setting. When we print larger paper for wall art, paper abrasion must be turned off, or we get banding.
