Is there any way in Lightroom 1.3 (Windows) to make a slideshow with more than one collection?

I actually have lots of little collections that I would want to present in only one slideshow...is there any way to do that...sequencing collections in slideshow?

Thanks

Welcome to out Forum!

First make all the Collections be under one Parent Collection. Then sellect the PArent Collection to do a Slideshow of them all. This works fine up to LR1.4.1. In LR2.X you need to put all the Collections you in a Collection Set for this to work.

Don,

Thanks for the info...
The problem I have doing that is that all my pictures are in the slide show...but all mixed up.

Do I have a way of keeping them to show into there own collection but one collection after the other?

I looked into the sort, but there is nowhere I can sort by collection...

Thanks

Then you would need to do a temp or extra Collection with all the images and User Sorted the way you want. AFAIK, there is currently no other way.

Don is right.
In slideshow, click on the parent collection of all the collections you want to show, then click + beside collections to create a new Slideshow collection. Order them in the collection now. You may need to go in and out of the slideshow to ensure that the User Order sort works..
The advantage is that if you now click that collection from anywhere, it will open in Slideshow.

Sean, he's using 1.3, that's a LR 2.X bit.

Koonie, what Sean is implying here is try it in LR2.1RC and you'll do better.

Just was coming back to say I saw that Don...

Putting them in one collection is still the only way to go..

I see Brad moved this here, but it really needs to go to the 1.X forum..
Looks like it's been moved!
