  • The November 2019 Lightroom updates are now available. Lightroom Classic includes the ability to export the same photos as multiple sizes/formats in a single export, content aware fill for panorama edges and more. It does require a catalog format upgrade and there are updated system requirements, so you may want to wait a few days before upgrading.
Lightroom (cloud-based service) has export options (such as TIFF format, renaming and color space), custom sort order on the desktop, copy/paste to multiple photos on iOS and more.
The Missing FAQ and Edit Like a Pro eBooks are already updated for the changes.
  • Stop struggling with Lightroom! There's no need to spend hours hunting for the answers to your Lightroom Classic questions. All the information you need is in Adobe Lightroom Classic - The Missing FAQ!

To help you get started, there's a series of easy tutorials to guide you through a simple workflow. As you grow in confidence, the book switches to a conversational FAQ format, so you can quickly find answers to advanced questions. And better still, the eBooks are updated for every release, so it's always up to date.

Hi

Last week I decided to remove photos from my cloud space to free up for future photos. Still keeping them in Lightroom Classic.
The remaining space of my total 20 GB was 7,31 GB before the cleanup.
I removed 4523 photos by going to Lightroom Classic > "All Synched Photographs" > "Remove from all synced photographs".
Then I emptied the Deleted folder and I expected to see an increase in unused space.
Only 0,19 GB???

I do have some videos, but how do I remove them from my cloud space without deleting the Lightroom Classic copies?
They cannot be found in the "All synced photographs" area.

Ahhhh, good thinking about the videos! In the web interface, find them (filter icon will help) then you can check them and delete. As long as they're already downloaded to Classic, your Classic copies won't be touched.

Thanks, Victoria!
Do have to delete them in my iPhone Lightroom app as well?
In that case it will be a pain to sync with the ones I choose to remove from the web interface.
If not removing all of them of course...

Removing them from the cloud would also remove them from the iPhone LR automatically.

True, but let's say I want to clear some space in my iPhone as well.
Photos taken with my iPhone, images saved from WhatsApp etc. when I choosen to automatically add them to LR app, will still be kept on my iPhone.
Need to be deleted separatly?

Anything that's not managed by Lightroom (so WhatsApp, Photos app, etc.) would need to be deleted separately, yes. I just empty the Photos app every so often.
