Is anyone running Lightroom Classic on a MacBook 2011 or older? It looks like it may not run on this machine

Why do you say that "It looks like it may not run on this machine"?
If you have LR6.x/LRCC2015.x running in that machine, then I would think you might be able to run LR7 (Classic) You need a subscription now to run LR7 (Classic). You can install or attempt to install the trial without removing your present Lightroom app.

Thanks for the suggestions.
It’s not my computer. I have mine all good. A friend told me she could not download it to her MacBook.
When I updated mine it said it was deleting to old version.
If we try to download the trial, will it delete the LR 6 she has been using?
I guess as long as she still has the catalog from LR 6 she could recover OK by reinstalling LR 6.

There's an option that you can check to not delete the old LR. I think they've changed the CC app to default to non-deletion.
