Chris Elliott (Panasonic Lumix FX3 compatibility)

[Chris J Elliott]

Have just bought a Lumix FX3 but the files in Raw are not recognised by Lightroom 2.1. Using Macbook Pro. Is the raw converter available for this camera? I should have thought so!
Appreciate any help.

Sorry Chris, it doesn't appear to be on the list of supported cameras. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html

You could put in a request, but it looks like it's not a recent model, so the likelihood of adding support is a bit slim, I'd have thought. Here's the request page though: Official Feature Request/Bug Report Form

Does it shoot raw?

The FX3 came out in 2''6 and is Jpeg only I believe. The new LX3 uses a .rw2 Raw file format. This post

hints at why it is not yet supported as well as possible support in ACR 5.2.
