"Checking Integrity" of Catalog?

I backup my catalog daily - however it seems to get stuck at "Now checking integrity of Lightroom Catalog.lrcat - this may take several minutes" - it's been an hour. I only have 2,6'' photos (and working on reducing that number) How long should this take? How long does yours take?

Is it still going Matthew?!? Sorry, just catching up with a backlog of posts. 26'' photos - I'd expect that to be done within a minute or so tops.

Well, I stopped it of course. I tried it a few times since and just recently it stopped halting at that point, and started taking only a few seconds like it should. I guess it was just a fluke.
