Changing where it saves

Hi All, new here but not that new to lightroom. I have a quick question hoping for a answer? I have lightroom intalled on my "C" drive but want all my pics. (inside lightroom) to be stored on a diff. drive. (same drive just a diif. partition) is this possable? can't figure this step out.

Welcome to Lightroom Forums.

Is the other partition already visible in Lightroom? If so, you can just drag the folders from one to the other in the Folders panel.

If not, then the simplest way is probably:
(1) shut down Lightroom'
(2) copy the files outside of Lightroom
(3) fire up Lightroom again
(4) right-click on the top-level folder and choose "Update Folder Location" from the context menu

Once all looks well, you can delete the originals off the C drive (or be safe -- just rename the top-level folder just to be sure).

If you have not imported them into Lightroom, on the import dialog, choose, "Move files to New Location" and select a folder from your other drive in the "Move To: location.
If you have already imported the images into lightroom, in the left panel, click on the (+) to the right of folders and "Add Folder" from the drive you want. Then drag your existing subfolders (currently in the C: drive location ) to the newly added folder.

I think the option that Mark has suggested is a little cumbersome but it does work too.
