Is there a way to shift the timestamp of a group of files by the year? I have about 800 files where the year is incorrect. The 'edit capture time' only allow time shift of up to 24 hours. If not tool will I need to make this shift? I am on macOs.

Yes, there is a way. Select all 800 files (you want to be the same year)
and using- [Adjust to a specified date and time] alter the Year only by highlighting just the year value-
All the files will retain their Day, Month, Time, as original, and only the Year will be changed.
