Changing Identity Plate default fonts

This is for LR 1.2: Is there any way to change the default font used when creating a custom identity plate? Currently the default when creating a new Catalog is Zaphino Regular 24 for the Catalog name info (When Styled text identity plate radio is checked).

Does anybody know where this font is specified, and possibly how to change it (and the defalut size)?

Go to Edit, Identify Plate Setup. There's a drop-down menu with the fonts listed.

yes but..

Yes - but with each new Catalog (I'll have MANY), it always starts (i.e. defaults to) with Zapfino 24. I'd like to change the DEFAULT font/size. Is THAT possible?

There doesn't appear to currently be a way to change that.

Your best option is to create on 'blank' catalog, set up your preferences, and save it somewhere safe. Then whenever you need a new catalog, duplicate that template and all of your settings will be there ready for you.
