Catalogue question

Hello all,

My main image library is kept on an external HD attached to my router (NAS?).
I use LR on both my desktop and laptop computers. Could I configure both installations of LR to use the same catalogue if it was stored on the external HD, or would I have problems keeping the two machines in sync?

No, the catalog cannot be on a shared device, because the underlying database technology doesn't allow for it.
