Catalog problem

Hi all, this is my first post so please be kind.
I'm using Lightroom 1.4.1 and have just moved all 8'gb of photographs from a server to a different storage drive. Is there a quick way to keep my catalogue working in Lightroom. I now find that my caption details are now missing for all my photographs . Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to Lightroom Forums.

If your folders are red in the Folders list, right-click on them and choose "Locate Missing Folder". Navigate to the new location, and you're all set.

If you only moved subsets of images rather than whole folders, click the question-mark in the grid next to one of the images and do the same. It should find other images that have been similarly moved.

THanks for your help Mark. Your response worked a treat. I knew there had to be a way. Lightroom is such a good program.
