I use CaptureMonkeys LR Barcode reader for Lightroom to embed metadata into images from photos of QR codes on ID slips when we photograph high school graduations. (Shoot tag, then student / family) The plugin then scan the catalog, reads the QR codes, and embeds that info in the subsequent images until it reaches a new QR code, wash rinse repeat.

This plugin has been abandoned and while is still works, if it stops, I am stuffed.
Can not find anything else that does this - does anyone? Or another way of doing this.

Cheers

Craig

I've never heard of another.

How do you know it is abandoned?

Was mentioned in a adobe forum that it is no longer developed - suppose I should check with the developer directly.

Maybe it just doesn't need to change, though this type of plugin often relies on a 3rd party component and that might be vulnerable to changes in the operating system. Definitely ask the developer.
