Can't save as jpg in cs4

I am just starting with LR ,this thing i can't figure : i have a jpg open in LR, do some adjustments and hit ctrl +E ; after some work in cs4 i go to "save as" i get lots of extensions but no *.jpg
I have read the article "The Truth About Saving JPEGs in Lightroom" http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/archives/tips/a good explanation about exporting, this is clear.
I just don't get why i can't "save as " in cs4 in jpg.

[/quote]The image starts in LR as a 16 bit color image. That is why Photoshop receives it as a TIFF file. you need to convert the 16 bit color to 8 bit in Photoshop before Photoshop will let you save it as a JPEG. The JPEG format is only 8 bit color. Photoshop ought to let you choose JPEG as a file format and warn you that it will be converted to 8 bit but it does not do this.

Also, it's often best to save the file from Photoshop as a .psd or .tif to preserve as much quality as possible. If you need a .jpg for the web, e-mail, etc., it's usually recommended to save it and then go back to LR and export it to a .jpg from there.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to get comfortable with the different aproach LR has regarding "saving"
A bit of a learning curve ,but i've already learned a lot on this forum.
