Can't open images from Lightroom 2.6 with Capture NX 2.2.2

Never had this problem before. After an upgrade of these things, I seem to have lost the ability to open a LR file in Capture NX via LR's "Edit in" feature.

NX seems to open, but won't open a file: gives this warning:

"Cannot load file: Macintosh HD/Users/charlesjdukes/Pictures/Thai pic remainders for website edit may erase when completed/thai2''8112'''132-Edit.tif."

Photo taken with Nikon D3. Computer is MacBook Pro 13 inch, 8GB. All software is latest update, both the photo editors and computer.

Hmm, maybe try it with an easier/shorter folder name?
Does NX work with TIFs? I'd expect it to work with NEFs and JPGs, but? (I'm Canon, so don't own it to try.)

Will NX open the file directly from outside LR ?

Sorry guys: I had to go away for a couple of weeks. Now, there's an update at Nikon. Will try that first and see what happens.
