Can't merge to Panorama/HDR in PS

hi. I have LR 2.2, and I'm just back from a holiday in which I took a few panoramas. I've just finished dust spotting all the 28 frames of one of them, ready for stitching. However, when I select them all, and go to Photo>Edit In, right click>Edit In, the option for "edit in photoshop CS3" is available, but all other options are greyed out.

I had a trial of PS CS4 for a while, which I've since deleted. Could this be part of the problem?

Did it work before you tried the CS4 trial?

And is CS3 updated to 1'.'.1?

I'm having this problem as well, with LR 2.4 and PS 11.'1 on a Mac. In grid view, when I select a series of DNGs and right click, "merge to panorama" is grayed out, although "edit in Photoshop" is not. I've never used merge to panorma via LR before.

eta: Just updated ACR to 5.4 and it's working fine.
