Can't Import

I'm a very experienced user of Lightroom Classic and i CAN'T IMPORT ANY IMAGES into Lightroom !
I haven't needed to import any images for several months, but now I can't import anything from my camera, the cards themselves or from my hard drive
I have been using LR for over 8 years and have processed over 70,000 images so it's not like I'm a beginner.
No matter from where I try to import no images will display in LR for me to import. Nothing displays for me to Copy as DNG, Add, Copy or Move.

Any Suggestions ?

Same here - Import dialog opens, I can start import, it even copies the photos to the target folder (if you check in finder), but the photos won't appear in my lr catalog. Tried syncing the folder, it acts as if it would import the pictures, but again does not display any pictures :mad:

It did work in a blank test catalog though...
