My surface pro 4 recently broke so I'm temporarily stuck with an old Windows 7 lenovo T420 laptop. I recently downloaded all my CC apps again. I opened lightroom and the option under file to add photos AND the + button for adding photos are both grayed out. It does not let me click on them. When I try opening an image into lightroom, nothing happens. I cannot figure out why every option to import an image is just not letting me click it. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Okay, thank you! Is there a version I can download that is supported? I see that your article recommends Lightroom classic CC. I'm just unsure of where to install it from. And do the other programs work? I've used photoshop, so I know that one is working. I haven't opened up indesign or illustrator yet (Those being the only other two that I somewhat regularly use).

What subscription plan are you using? There are several variants of the Photography Plan, as shown here:

If you have the middle plan (Creative Cloud Photography Plan) then you can install Classic from the Creative Cloud app. If you don't have that plan, you'd need to switch plans by contacting Adobe Customer Care, but beware that plan only includes 20GB cloud space.

Regarding other Adobe programs, I don't know if they work under Win7, but you should be able to find the System Requirements online quite easily.

Also note that you should be able to access your images in the cloud by using the LRCC web app in any browser, which might tide you over until you get back to a Win10 system.

I have the Creative Cloud All Apps subscription. It does have the Lightroom Classic CC on that, so I will download that. Thanks so much - you've been so helpful!
