Can't connect to EOS 350D

Hi there,

I am quit new to lightroom. Before i used ACDSEE. I experience the problem that when I use the option:
- Import photos from device
I get the message:
- There were no image capture devices available to import from

ACDSEE works fine!
- with acdsee i have no problems at all impoting photos by USB cable from my EOS35'.

I searched the internet all night and I can't find a solution. Ik hope someone here can help me..

I work with Windows Vista, lightroom 2.1, Canon eos 35' D.

Hi lippes, welcome to the forum!

I haven't been windows based for a long time, and I haven't been near vista, but first port of call is whether the camera drivers are up to date. Try downloading the latest ones from the Canon website.

I can't help directly but would suggest getting a card reader instead of connecting the camera directly.
