Can't add subdirectory

All of a sudden I can't seen to add a subdirectory in my picture folder. And usually it says "My Pictures" at the top. Now it's only showing where I have them stored (F drive) and then under it the folders. It should say above 1950s and older My Pictures. I have no clue what happened and why I can add a sub for 2023.

Right-click on one of the Folders and 'Show Parent Folder' should bring the parent display back.
