cannot view photos

Lightroom is completely functional except I cannot view any photos in any mode except for "Web". I've reinstalled it several times to no avail. Prior to that I had no other issues except for one of the brushes disappearing on me back in 2.'. I guess I need to fully remove and start from scratch. No problem - where do I start? Please help.

PS
I'm running 2.1 in Vista, plenty of memory/space, fast system.

alex, Welcome, glad you got straightened out.

As you've discovered, that symptom is frequently associated with problems in the video/display subsystem.

The search function in vBulletin, (the forum software) is not very flexible, glad you could find what you were looking for.
