Cannot export from Lightroom

I have a disk with 283 photos which I have downloaded into Lightroom. I want to export 217 of the photos into iPhoto. Absolutely will not export into any program I have! Just get message, "failed to export." I am struggling ... have tried everything I know to do, and I don't know very much. Can some patient person help me?

At a guess, is there a little question mark in the corner of the thumbnails? That would mean that LR can't find the originals - click on the question mark of one and point it back in the right direction, and you'll be all set.

Thank you! It was the question mark! I put the original CD in my Mac ... and it worked! I have been struggling with this for days ... so glad I found the Forum and helpful people. Thank you so much!
