When I try to Edit in another application, all options are greyed out. Worked fine yesterday. Any suggestions for what is wrong?

You only have a Smart Preview, not the original photo (see under your Histogram)
Thanks Paul, I have no idea how a Smart Preview got into my film strip (vs the original raw photo)
My bigger problem is that LrC continues to display the following error

After I hit OK, LrC closes and upon restart from the external (all photos and a new catalog are on a new Crucial SSD 1TB external drive as I go back and forth from desktop to laptop and wanted to start fresh for 2023) it prompts that catalog must be repaired, it repairs and then all is well until the next crash. Here are a few of my folder screen shots that may be of help to diagnose.
Notice that the catalog is showing in both the main LrC folder and the corrupt catalog folder. Advice on where I go from here?
