I have macbook pro running macOS 14.1.1 Sonoma, Lightroom Classic (desktop) 13.1, m1max processor, 64GB memory. When I open lightroom, I select ‘create a new catalog’, select the directory where I want it (in my Pictures directory), create a folder where I want the catalog files created, but I never see the ‘create’ button highlighted so I can select it. I have 6-8 catalogs that were created under lightroom version 12 or earlier and successfully updated to version 13. But I cannot create a new catalog under version 13. Any suggestions to fix this problem? Just as reference, the last time I saw this problem a few years back I was working on windows platform and for a workaround I needed to make a copy of any catalog that I had already backed up and gut the stuff in the copy before adding my photos. Not a nice work around because certain folders could not be renamed. And I need a new catalog for each piece of work (in this case each of my travels).
