Can you force a Publish Service (Flickr) to synchronise

I have a Flickr Publish service in my LR Classic. However the number of images in my Flickr Photostream is less than that showing in the Flickr Publish service in LR Classic ( 659 versus 790 respectively). I suspect that I may have created the issue by deleting images directly from my Flickr Photostream rather than via LR Classic.
Within LR the service is shown as a synced service, is there a way to force LR to synchronise the images such that they match?

In LR, you can probably go into the Flickr collection, select all the photos, and then "mark to republish". Then publish.
They all should then go to Flickr. You probably won't get the missing ones into the right albums though.

Thanks for your response Jim, I appreciate it. However what I wish to happen is for the total number of images in the LR Flickr publish service to match the number existing on my Flickr Photostream, i.e. 659. I suppose I could just manually delete the 131 images from within LR.

I see.
Flickr is a receiving app - it does not have any capability of sending info backwards.
Thus, if you want the LR collection to agree with the Flick as it is now, you have to edit the LR collection.

Thanks for confirming my thought Jim, I shall wait for a rainy day to sort out the mismatch.

I simply made the changes to the images in the Flickr Publish Services, then told it to "Publish". It updated the changed images in Flickr and removed the images I had deleted from the LR collection.
