Sounds far-fetched, but can LR 2.1 Slideshow cause my PC (running XP-SP2) to reboot?

Here's the data: Only happens when I'm using the Slideshow module. (Never happens in any other app). About 2' slides into the show, and without warning, my monitor goes black and my PC reboots itself. Has happend only 3-4 times in the many times I've used the Slideshow Module. My slideshow settings are basic - start and end titles, stroke around each slide, 3 sec slide + 2 sec fade.

Seems wierd. Any insights on this?

A bit unlikely, I'd have thought. I'd be looking at power supply and memory first. Processor intensive stuff could be highlighting a dying power supply, and LR finds dodgy RAM quicker than almost other program. Seems weird that it's just in slideshow though.

Whenever anything weird happens in Slideshow, it's always a good idea to verify that all the images have been fully pre-rendered first. Probably not what's going on, but something to check. I can't imagine that causing a reboot except forcing heavy resource usage, leading to the problems VB suggested.
