Can I copy RAW files from LR?

I specialize in dog agility photographs. At the end of a weekend I might have 1,5'' pictures.

My workflow is as follows.
1. I bring all of my pictures into Breeze Browser Pro to cull out the just plain bad ones, out of focus, etc.
2. I then copy the RAW files into a folder, from which I import them into LR
3. I do whatever editing I might want to do in LR

Is there a way I can *copy* the edited RAW files from LR back into a folder from which I can use BBPro to make web galleries?

I know LR has the capability to make web galleries, when I"m more familiar with it I may use then LR galleries, but at this point I'm familiar with the galleries that BBPro generates.

I'm not very familiar with BB, but how well does it work with DNGs? That might be your best route back from Lr to BB. While BB might be XMP aware (I don't know, either way), clearly it won't know how to apply the Lr adjustments to the raw image.

DNG has the advantage that it maintains compatibility with Lr, while embedding a preview image (of selectable resolution/quality) which BB may be able to extract for your web gallery purposes.

Or you could just export JPGs for the purpose.

BB does handle dngs just fine, I've done that before. (exported from LR as dng), then done the web galleries in BB from the dngs. I was just wondering if I could skip the step to dng converesion. Guess not.

You can skip the whole export step and save disk space all at once!

As I see it, you get 3 versions of every and each image! Original, original copied for import and the exported versions! You can skip the two last steps by doing this: From your originals, import as DNG. When developping, either have "Auto Write to XMP" checked or hit Ctrl-S for all developed images. That is all there is to it. From BreezeBrowser, just read those DNGs...

Or you can do Export to Original format to do a duplicate raw files without converting to DNG.

Or I just have this vague idea - and I could be completely wrong - that BB can read star ratings if they've been written to XMP, in which case you could just select all and hit Ctrl-S, and then use BB to filter the starred images that you want to output in their original folder, ignoring duplicates altogether. Just a thought!
