Is there any way to change the font for "caption" in the metadata panel so that the a different font appears in the print module?

Hi Jean, welcome to the forum!
As far as I know, there's not a way to do that at this point in time. Closest workaround is LR2/Mogrify used while exporting the images which can add borders, text etc, and then add those images to LR if you want to print.
