How do I get my Canon EOS 4' to download photos direct to Lightroom? Right now it downloads to EOS Utility Program...

It's a two step process.
LR can't interface directly with the camera.
In LR, on the file menu, select Auto Import > . Use that to set your import parameters, and to designate a "Watched Folder".
You then use the EOS utility to download the photos to the LR 'Watched Folder".

There was a requirement in 1.x, that the Watched Folder had to be empty when you started LR. I don't know if that still applies in 2.' (probably).

Questions? Follow-up ...

It is really much easier to use a card reader and load directly into LR.

Hang on, are we talking tethered shooting (as per Brad's answer) or importing files into LR (as per Terry's answer)?

Exporting photos from camera directly to Lightroom. As it stands now they automatically go to another program, and then she has to import them into Lightroom. Just seems like a two step should be a one step?

What happens if LR Library Menu > Preferences > Import Tab:

Top checkbox 'Show import dialog when a memory card is detected' is checked?

(If it isn't already.) If so, we have to figure out how to keep the EOS utility from autoloading.

Mac or PC would be handy before we go any further, as the answer will be completely different.
